We are getting rid of membership fee collection by employer
We are reforming our membership register, and at the same time, we will be abandoning employer collection. We are also introducing new membership payment methods.
Employer collection has long been an effective way to collect membership fees, but the number of members using this method has been steadily declining. In March 2022, only 5% of Loimu’s members used employer collection as their method of payment.
In the future, members who have previously paid their fees via employer collection can pay their membership fees using either an e-invoice or a paper invoice according to their preference. We recommend using an e-invoice, which is an easy and environmentally friendly payment method, which is also easily adaptable to membership fee changes.
Order a draft invoice
We have made adopting the e-invoice as easy as possible. You can now order a draft e-invoice from our membership service. You can also log in to our member page (only available in Finnish) and click on ‘Order e-invoice’ under ‘My information’.
Online service path:
www.loimu.fi/en > Member pages (in Finnish, login required)
> Click on My information under your name
> In the view that opens, select Order e-invoice, update your information and click on the Order button.
If you have any questions about switching to e-invoicing or membership fee invoicing in general, please contact our membership service jasenasiat at loimu.fi or call 09 6226 8510 (Mon – Thu from 9 am – 12 pm until the end of May, please check the June-August timetable on the Contact information page).
Once you have ordered a draft e-invoice, please remember to inform your payroll accountant about cancelling employer collection by the end of the month.
We will donate five euros for each new e-invoice order made during 2022 to the 4H Taimiteko project, which employs young people for forest planting. In addition, at the end of this year, we will draw twenty Super Gift Cards worth EUR 50 among those who pay their membership fees with an e-invoice.
If you continue using employer collection until 31 December 2022 and have not ordered an e-invoice by then, you will automatically receive your 2023 membership fee invoice in paper form at the end of January 2023.
