Negotiations on the universities’ collective agreement continued on 26th and 27th March
Negotiations for the collective agreement of approximately 35,000 university employees have continued this week, with negotiations taking place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Negotiations are also taking place today, Friday.
The general collective agreement for universities is valid until 31st March. Until then, negotiations will be held with the aim of achieving a good negotiation result for university employees.
If the university sector does not achieve a negotiation result on Monday, March 31, university staff and university employers will move to a non-contractual state (sopimukseton tila in Finnish) on Tuesday, April 1.
