Running as a Candidate

Run for the Council of Loimu! As a member of the Council, you will have the opportunity to influence the union's activities and expand your professional network. The Council will offer you a front-row seat to the core of labor market activities.

As a member of the council, you have the opportunity to make decisions on Loimu’s strategy, operations, and finances, including membership fees. Additionally, being in the council allows you to develop valuable skills for the workplace, such as negotiation skills and decision-making abilities, and to build networks.

It’s important that council members represent the diverse membership of the organization and that the council includes various perspectives and expertise. You don’t need previous experience in the council, as we provide orientation for all council members at the beginning of each new term.

You can run as a candidate if you have joined Loimu as a student member or a full member by July 31, 2024.
