Loimu’s strategy and values

During the past year, we have updated Loimu’s strategy. Our strategy, “Makers of a Brighter Future,” which has been in effect from 2019 to 2024, has served as an excellent guideline for steering our operations as well as organizing and investing in member advocacy and services. Over the year, we carried out an extensive strategy update process, involving the entire membership through a survey and engaging our active members in workshops.

In the strategy that will take effect at the beginning of 2025, we have taken into account the changes that have occurred in our operating environment during the strategy period, while the fundamentals, such as our mission and values, remain unchanged.

The strategy defines our mission, values, vision, and the promises we make to our members.

Loimu’s mission

Loimu’s mission is the well-being and success of our members. Everything we do must directly or indirectly contribute to the well-being and success of our members.

Loimu’s vision

Loimu’s vision is to be a partner to its thriving and successful members, as well as an active and respected societal influencer, by 2030.

Loimu’s values

Loimu’s values are the basis of our operations. Our shop stewards and employees are committed to operating in accordance with our values.

  • We are ready to make bold choices. We want to try new solutions. We are cooperative and open.
