Danske Bank's student benefits

Significant Benefits for Student Members of an Akava Union

The financial peace of mind for Finnish students is at its lowest level in recorded history, and students are significantly more concerned than before about not being able to manage their debts and loans, according to Danske Bank’s Financial Peace of Mind 2024 study.

Danske Bank and Akava have been collaborating since 2016 and are now jointly offering higher education students support to alleviate the burden of student loan interest and encourage students with financial assistance to start regular saving even during their studies. This collaboration brings financially significant new benefits to students, helping them focus on their studies. The total financial value of these benefits for a first-year student can be up to 300 euros.
